THE INSTITUTE

The Contemporary Gestalt Institute of Cincinnati (CGI) is an organization dedicated to providing professional training and personal growth experiences in the Gestalt methodology. CGI works within a humanistic framework with a foundation in Gestalt Psychology and theory.

Since its inception in 1980, CGI has offered professional training programs, educational seminars, professional supervision and organizational consultation, introductory and advanced personal growth workshops, and individual, couples & group psychotherapy.

CGI faculty are dedicated to wellness and supporting the growth and development of the mental health professional community by offering programs that address treatment, supervision and ethics. Community outreach and involvement are integral to the on-going life and work of the Institute.

Professionals and students in the mental health and counseling community who wish to expand their skills to include the Gestalt approach. Individuals and couples in search of clinical services offered by the professional staff of the Institute.

People seeking more specific, time-limited workshops offering experiences of personal growth and awareness in a one-day or weekend workshop format. Organizations within the community that would like specific clinical training or coaching experiences, consultation, supervision, or team building.
