May 15, 2010 - " A Taste of Gestalt"

The Contemporary Gestalt Institute of Cincinnati

    presents "A Taste of Gestalt"

A Free Introduction and Review of the Gestalt Process

Date:    Saturday, May 15, 2010  -  9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Facilitators:   Paul Diamond, Ph.D., ABPP & Madelon Rudman Clark, L.I.S.W.

In response to many requests from people to give the basics of our work, in addition to graduates of our program who have asked for more information to review and go deeper in selected areas, we are presenting this overview of Gestalt Therapy.  This will give a good introduction to those who do not have any exposure to the Gestalt process and will be a good consolidation for those with familiarity with Gestalt.

Content:

     (1)  Didactic  -  We will give an overview to the Gestalt theory of personality, present the basic cornerstones of Gestalt theory and practice, explain the use of the Cycle of Experience and be available to elaborate on areas of specific interest to attendees.  (2)  Experiential  - We will do a live demonstration of Gestalt work and process it with the audience.  (3)  Audience involvement - There will be plenty of time for questions and answers to focus on specific concerns of the audience around their clinical work.
